Looking startled and irritated at your rather imperious demand, they pull out a copy of the contract and point out that it says nothing about laundry facilities. They recommend you hand wash your clothing.
You grow angry and state that it is expected that a person be able to wash their clothes in a machine while here for a year and that there is no way you will stay without one.
They pull back and huddle up to discuss the situation. After a short talk, they present their conclusion:
"Frankly speaking, if it is not in the contract, it is not our responsibility. It is obvious that you are going to be troublesome and argumentative about every little thing while here and we have decided that it isn't going to work. We are terminating your contract and putting you back on a plane home in the morning."
