You wake up the next day feeling a bit rough, but not as bad as you had expected. You decide that soju, while fun and cheap, is certainly not something you want to drink frequently.
You spend the day casually organizing your place and doing some laundry.
You wake up the next morning ready to dive into teaching. You head downstairs at about 12:30 and are given a briefing on the books/levels of each class, told the names of your students and the class sizes. Feeling prepared, you start your day.
It goes well. The students were receptive and appeared to be eager to learn. That is, all except one child who seemed to be trying to anger you. In fact, on Thursday you catch him in the act of flipping you off. In response to this you:
explode in a rage and drag this six-year-old brat outside the classroom to berate him loudly.
control your irritation, thinking that he is only six and that flipping someone off may not have the same meaning in Korea, and firmly tell him to never do that again.
tell him to stop, make him sit at the front of the class with you, then take him to the director after class to have her explain why he shouldn't do that.
